ACCEPTANCE

www.daymade.co.za (“the Website”) is owned and operated by G. GANI (Registration number: 2021/727785/07) (herein referred to as (“DAYMADEZA”,“DAYMadeza”,“DAYMadeza”,”DayMadeza”,”daymade.co.za”).

DAYMADEZA welcomes you to shop for fashion and healthcare apparel online.

  • Visitors to the Website (“Users” or “you”), including those Users who purchase any products on the website (“Purchasers”) are bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not continue to use the Website. Your continued use of the Website will constitute an acceptance of the Terms and Conditions by you.
  • The Website enables Users to shop for goods that include, amongst other things, fashion, workwear, healthcare apparel, footwear and accessories. 
  • We may change these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The latest version of these Terms and Conditions applies whenever you use the Website. You agree to read the latest version each time you visit the Website.
  • By using our website or by the exchange of emails with us, you communicate with us by electronic means. You, therefore, agree that any and all agreements, notices, disclosures, or any other communications sent or received electronically satisfy any legal requirement, including but not limited to, the requirement that such communications should be “in writing”.

PRODUCTS & AVAILABILITY

  • Stock availability: Stock of all goods on offer is limited. DAYMADEZA shall make all reasonable efforts to ensure that when stock is no longer available, offers are discontinued. However, should DAYMADEZA be unable to fulfil any order placed by you at the advertised price due to stock having sold out, DAYMADEZA will notify you and you will be entitled to a refund of the amount paid by you for such product as explained in more detail below and in the refund policy (“Refund Policy”).

GIFT VOUCHERS & COUPONS

  • DAYMADEZA offers physical and electronic Gift Vouchers (“Gift Vouchers”) as well as electronic promotional Coupons (Coupons) available on the Website from time to time. Gift Vouchers and Coupons can only be redeemed whilst they are valid (their expiry dates being unable to be extended), and may be used on the Website to purchase DAYMADEZA products.
  • How to redeem your Gift Voucher or Coupon:
  1. Login or register at www.daymade.co.za
  2. Please take note of your Gift Voucher or Coupon code.
  3. Follow the “How to Shop” instructions until checkout (add the item(s) you wish to purchase to your shopping cart).
  4. During the checkout process click on “Use Gift Voucher” or “Use Coupon” option and enter your Gift Voucher number or Coupon Redemption code on the shopping cart page before you click checkout.
  5. Click the “Apply Voucher “or “Apply Coupon” button.
  6. The sum total of the Gift Voucher or Coupon will be subtracted from the total value of the purchase.
  7. Checkout
  • Gift Vouchers or Coupons may only be used once.  
  • Only one Gift Voucher or Coupon is redeemable per order.
  • The full amount of the Gift Voucher and Coupon has to be redeemed and will be redeemed upon use.
  • Gift Vouchers may not be: 
    1. used to purchase other Gift Vouchers or Coupons;
    2. exchanged for cash;
    3. transferred or assigned to any other person.
 
  

 

 

PAYMENTS:

  • YOCO

YOCO currently accepts payments via Visa and Mastercard. All payments are made in South African Rands (ZAR). The payment gateway is PCI compliant and supports 3D Secure. This ensures the security of your personal and banking details. 

 

  • ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER

You may also choose to pay by EFT for bulk orders greater than 50 units, and we will email you our bank account details. Once payment has been made a payment confirmation must be emailed to us at orders@daymade.co.za. If you have selected to pay via this method, the following applies:

  • the exact amount must be paid;
  • the payment must be identified by supplying the order number and surname in the reference section on the electronic transfer;
  • no transfers may be made from ATM’s;
  • your order will be cancelled if the amount due is not paid within 5 business days;
  • at the time of placing the order, the transaction details are presented to the bank and payment is collected immediately. If the bank’s authorisation is not obtained, the order will be cancelled;
  • You may use your NAME or ORDER NO. as a payment reference.

 

 
  

 

 

 

Refund policy:

We regret No Refunds. There will be no refunds issued on any DAYMADEZA Products, unless otherwise indicated by DAYMADEZA or where alternative arrangements have been discussed with a DAYMADEZA representative. We regret no credit notes.

 

 
  

 

 

 

General Returns/Exchanges Guidelines:

  • NO embroided item/s can be returned only altered, which will be charged for.
  • NO sale item/s will be returned or exchanged.
  • NO return on scrub CAPS.
  • We won’t be able to refund you, however a voucher will be sent to you for store credit.
  • You will be billed on damaged items.
  • Customers requesting an exchange will need to courier their items to DAYMADEZA at their own cost.
  • Courier of exchanged items back to the customer will also be at their own cost.
  • Incorrect Product Delivery: If the incorrect product is delivered to you (i.e., it is not the product you purchased), please do not remove the product from its original packaging, open or use the product in any way. Please contact DAYMADEZA, so that we can resolve the mistake by collecting the product from you and delivering the correct one as soon as possible.
  • We are not liable for your washing skills. Wash dark and light colours separately. NO exchanges or voucher will be considered.
  • Late Delivery & Shortages: If a product you have purchased is not delivered within the agreed delivery period (or where no specific period is agreed, within 15 days after having purchased the product) you are entitled to cancel such purchase on 5 days’ notice to DAYMADEZA. Should a product that you have ordered be out of stock, DAYMADEZA will notify you thereof, whereupon:
    • In the event of a temporary out-of-stock situation, you shall be entitled to cancel the order and be fully refunded, or to maintain the sale subject to a later delivery date as may be agreed;
    • In the event of a permanent out-of-stock situation, you shall be entitled to be fully refunded.

 

 
  

 

 

 

Returns Policy:

We have a strict five-day return policy, which means you have 5 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start a return, you can contact us at support@daymade.co.za. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as for instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

  • Purchased items may be returned within 5 days of receipt for a full refund of that item, an exchange for a different size or different garment of equivalent value based on stock availability, or a store credit. This means that all customers must submit a return form within 5 days of receipt to qualify for a return.
  • The abovementioned is subject to the following:
  1. In all cases, the items returned must be in their original condition, unworn/unused and in their original packaging with all tags still attached. (If the goods were delivered to you without tags you must advise us by email to this effect within 24 hours of receipt.)
  2. When trying on items of clothing, please ensure that you are not wearing perfume, makeup, powder or a deodorant which may leave a scent or marks on the item.
  3. Once your return form has been submitted you will receive an email to confirm that your return has been lodged. We will arrange for our courier partner to collect your return which will be charged to your return. Alternatively, returns may also be arranged via a selected Pargo point. If you would like more information on this, please contact us.
  4. Please ensure your return includes a copy of your original invoice and/or order no.
  5. Processing of returns (including acknowledgement of receipt of return form submitted, collection of the return and delivery to DAYMADEZA premises) can take up to 5 BUSINESS DAYS from date of submission. We appreciate your patience in this regard.
  6. If an item you receive is considered by you to be damaged or faulty, please submit a return request form and we will take up the matter and possibly refund you or replace the item at our cost, subject to availability.
  7. Items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty and will not be accepted for a return or exchange.
  8. Non-defective products: Save for certain exceptions (as listed below), you are entitled, after receipt of a product purchased by you, to cancel the purchase within the relevant COOLING OFF PERIOD specified below, and to obtain the full purchase price refund, subject to being charged by DAYMADEZA for the return of the product. The COOLING OFF PERIOD (S44 of the ECTA 25 of 2012):
    • 5 days after receipt of goods;
    • If payment for the goods has been affected prior to you exercising one of the aforementioned rights, you are entitled to a full refund of such payment, which payment must be made within 15 days of the date of cancellation.
  9. EXCEPTIONS:  according to S42 (2) of the ECTA, these include:
    • purchases by electronic Gift Vouchers or Coupons;
    • underwear and lingerie (for hygienic reasons);
    • footwear and socks;
    • face masks and all PPE (for safety and hygienic reasons);
    • prizes, competition/promotional items;
  • To initiate a return a returns form MUST be filled out first on our returns page.
  • ALL returns must be made within 5 days. No returns will be accepted after this period.

 

Exchange Policy:

Exchanges will only be considered if the customer notifies DAYMADEZA within 5 days of delivery. Please fit every item when it arrives. Upon our receipt and inspection of the returned item(s), exchanges will only be accepted and processed if the item(s) are in original condition, unused and no signs of damage, wear or altering. Make-up counts as damage!

  • Exchanges will take time as we don’t always have stock on hand and will be seen as a new order in some cases.

 

Please keep in mind that DAYMADEZA cannot accept the returned product(s) and cannot exchange the item/s if:

  • the return fails outside of the stated five (5) day period
  • the product(s) is worn, damaged or not in its original packaging;
  • R50 packaging fine for packaging that is damaged on return
  • the product has been purchased at a reduced SALE price
  • orders with promo codes used to discount the item fall under sale orders / orders using influencer discount codes / BUY X GET Y FREE promo codes forfeit the right to be returned/exchanged


To return a product for exchange, please follow the instructions below
• Drop us an email via support@daymade.co.za
• In your email, please include your reason for exchange and attach a copy of the payment confirmation you received when placing the order

You will receive a response email:
• confirming/declining the exchange
• the availability of the items the customer would like to exchange to
• a return address
• You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. You will need to pay an additional shipping cost (R100) to dispatch your new item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Pack the product(s) into their original packaging including the original and attached labels
• Address the package to DAYMADEZA
• As DAYMADEZA in not liable for the loss of any product being returned we highly recommend that you return it using registered mail.


Damaged or Defective product:
For DAYMADEZA, we pride ourselves on quality. We thoroughly test all our garments to ensure they are fully capable of standing up to the uses for which they were designed. It is extremely rare for our products to be damaged or defective.
We will refund/replace the product if the damage is the result of a manufacturing defect or deviation from factory specifications, and not the result of normal wear and tear. If the problem was caused by reasons other than material quality or assembly process, the original product will be returned to you.

Please note the following are not acceptable as defective/damaged goods:

  • item does not match the image online – we make sure to use images identical to the product online, we refrain from using client images online due to editing & adjustments done to images by clients when posting on Instagram. The image online is the most accurate and identical to the product purchased and in no way or form differ from the item received. Please use the online image as the correct source of the item you are purchasing and will receive.
  • Loose threads


Email us via support@daymade.co.za if you have received a damaged/ defective item. Please provide a description of the defected item and images.

  • please note you will have to ship the defective product back to our warehouse for our team to investigate the defective/damaged product.
  • a refund/replacement will only commence once the returned item is declared damaged/defective.


*If you receive a refund due to defects, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

 

 
  

 

 

 

SHIPPING/DELIVERY:

  • DAYMADEZA is an online retailer and does not have a physical retail store. Deliveries are door to door i.e., to the address supplied by the User. If the User is not available at the time of delivery, the parcel will be left with someone at the property who will be required to sign receipt e.g., staff, which needs to be given beforehand.
    • DAYMADEZA cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes
  • The client receives a shipping confirmation email on dispatch of their purchase including all necessary tracking information. It is the client’s duty to track their parcel to ensure the whereabouts and that they are present to receive the package on the delivery date.
  • If the courier service after multiple attempts of trying to deliver the package at the given address is unsuccessful or fails after several attempts to contact the client via the given contact details nor receives a response to their messages/calls and the package is returned to DAYMADEZA, the client forfeits delivery and is accountable to arrange/pay for RE-DELIVERY.

GENERAL

  • DayMade.co.za delivers to most areas in South Africa. 

CHARGES

  • Delivery is FREE in South Africa provided your order meets the minimum order requirement upon checkout.
  • There is no delivery charge for orders of R1500.00 or more.
  • Should your order total be less than R1500.00, a R100.00 delivery fee will be added to your purchase.
  • The R100 delivery fee is a set standard for all delivery options (our courier partner & Pargo).

OPTIONS & PERIODS

Door-To-Door Deliveries with our courier partner (within 5-7 business days)

  • Once your order has been processed, we will arrange with our courier partner to deliver your purchased items to the place and person of your choice, to arrive on the next business day after dispatch.
  • Delivery periods are calculated based on business days only. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are not taken into account in calculating delivery periods. For, example, if you order something over the weekend or on a public holiday, the delivery period will only start running on the next business day.
  • If products with different delivery times are ordered together, the product with the longest delivery time will determine the delivery time of all the products in the order. If you want to order various products where some have a shorter delivery time than others, DAYMADEZA advises that you order such products separately from the products requiring longer delivery times.
  • DAYMADEZA makes every effort to ensure that the information supplied on the Website is accurate. Where delays and out of stock situations occur, every reasonable effort will be made to inform you.
  • In the unlikely event of an incorrect delivery or defective product, please go to the returns page and initiate a returns request.
  • A NOTE ABOUT FOOTWEAR PRODUCTS – we do not keep any stock on hand of products listed in the FOOTWEAR section of daymade.co.za. We will endeavour to have your order fulfilled with our 3rd party suppliers and your products delivered as soon as possible, however we cannot always guarantee delivery of these items within our usual 7 business days. Customers will always be kept informed with regards to dispatch & delivery as well as any delays or stock shortages. We appreciate your patience in this regard.

 

Pargo Pick Up Points (within 5-7 business days)

  • Not at home when we are trying to deliver your parcel? Or are you experiencing other challenges with traditional deliveries? We have partnered with Pargo to make your delivery experience at DAYMADEZA even better. Pargo ensures that you never miss a delivery again by allowing you to have your parcels delivered to a selected Pargo point where you can collect when it suits you best.

Pargo works in 3 simple steps:

1 – Choose Pargo on the check-out page and select your preferred store.

2 – Receive an email and SMS from Pargo when the parcel is ready for collection which includes your Pargo code.

3 – Collect your parcel from the store, don’t forget to bring the Pargo code.

 

  • When choosing a Pargo pick up point for your delivery method, your order will be delivered to your selected Pargo pick up point.
  • Deliveries to the Pargo points are done up to 5 business days in main centres and up to 5 business days for regional and remote areas. The opening hours of the stores can be found when you are choosing your preferred store. Pargo will also include these opening hours in the email communication with you. Your parcel will be kept at the store in a safe and secure area until you have collected your parcel.
  • Pargo will keep your parcel at the store for 8 days. If the parcel is not collected within 8 calendar days of being delivered, the parcel will be returned to our warehouse. Unfortunately, you will not receive a refund as this surpasses our refund policy.
  • In the case of choosing Pargo pick up point as a delivery method, the delivery is considered complete when the parcel is successfully delivered to the applicable Pargo pick up point.
  • A NOTE ABOUT FOOTWEAR PRODUCTS – we do not keep any stock on hand of products listed in the FOOTWEAR section of daymade.co.za. We will endeavour to have your order fulfilled with our 3rd party suppliers and your products delivered as soon as possible, however we cannot always guarantee delivery of these items within our usual 5 business days. Customers will always be kept informed with regards to dispatch & delivery as well as any delays or stock shortages. We appreciate your patience in this regard.

How much does shipping cost:
We courier nationwide at R100

All South African orders are shipped:

  • via Pargo (Local) – click and collect for our frontline workers and bossbabes and bossmen working shift hours
  • via FastWay (outlying/grey areas)
    You will be required to sign for delivery via courier, we therefore recommend that you provide a daytime address where someone will be able to sign between 9am and 5pm.


Where can I find delivery details:
Once you have added your product items to the cart, the next step is to checkout. On this check out page, we request billing and delivery details, where you would need to complete the corresponding forms, with the correct shipping address.

How do I change my shipping address once my order is placed:
We can only update your shipping address before shipment.
To ensure that your package can be properly delivered, please ensure that your address is complete and correct with all information including apartment/suite/room numbers.
Once your package shipped, we will not be able to change the shipping address.

When will my order be dispatched:
• Orders will be shipped within 24-48 hours (During sale season/pop up events hosted by DAYMADEZA we may experience a delay in shipping. You will be notified via social media/email if there is a delay in dispatching your order.)
• Please take note that all products purchased over the weekend and on public holidays, will only depart the following working day

Can I track my order:
You are able to track the status of your order using the tracking code which you will receive from Pargo or courier depending on your choice of delivery. If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us

What should I do if my order hasn’t been delivered yet:
If your order has not arrived after 6 working days please send us a message including your order number via email support@daymade.co.za, and a DAYMADEZA representative will get in contact with you as soon as possible to ensure your order arrives safely.

International purchases & shipping:

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & DISCLAIMER:

  1. We offer use of this Website “as is” and “as available”, and its use by you is at your own risk. Any material downloaded or otherwise obtained through the use of our Website is done at your own discretion and risk and you are solely responsible for any damage to your computer system or loss of data that results from the download of any such material, including any damages resulting from computer viruses and other similar maladies.

  6. We are not responsible for any loss that results from:
  • any technical or other problem (including interruption, malfunction, downtime or other failure) that affects our website, system or online service or any database for any reason;
  • any problem affecting any goods or service provided by any other party, for example any telecommunication or internet service provider, electricity supplier, or local or other authority;

The Website is hosted, controlled and operated from the Republic of South Africa and therefore governed by South African law. You and DAYMADEZA submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

  • Also please note that photographs of products may not exactly match the product, as some items have unique colouring and also vary from item to item.
  • Please also note that sizes and measurements are approximate, as there are variations in the sizing standards of various manufacturers and products being hand measured. Unless otherwise stated, sizes indicated are South African sizes. Please refer to our size guide.
